Watch Super Mario 3D World's four player co-op in action

Nintendo showed us six minutes of Super Mario 3D World in action earlier this week. The blend of sidescrolling and 3D exploration introduced in Super Mario 3D Land looks like great territory for multiplayer, but let's be realistic; the four players in that first video were way too cooperative for any actual co-op Mario game.

This new video from Nintendo of America presents a much more realistic (read: backstabbing and chaotic) take on Super Mario 3D World with four players.

Unlike the New Super Mario Bros. series, each of Super Mario 3D World's protagonists has a unique strength: Mario's the most balanced, Luigi jumps high, Peach can float briefly, and Toad can run the fastest. You can see which you like best when the game hits Wii U on Nov. 22 in the U.S. and Nov. 29 in Europe.
