Young switchblade thuggery meets aging football hooliganism in this cross-generational turf war with implausible ‘sins of the father’ overtones. Harley Sylvester of Rizzle Kicks is mesmerising in his role as half-stoned, sadistic gang leader Adam, who meets his match in Doug Allen’s square-jawed former leader of the firm, pulled back into the fray following a brutal attack on mentor Mickey (David Essex).

Sadly, the film gets mired in muddied morals and needless flashbacks, spending too long on backstory before finally delivering its brutal third act. Still, it does answer the question “What is Richard Blackwood up to these days?”
