AMC’s new spin-off series, Fear The Walking Dead, has a new featurette, introducing viewers to its cast of characters ahead of the show’s big premiere next week. Kim Dickens and Cliff Curtis head up the show, starring as guidance counsellor Madison Clark and English teacher Travis Manawa respectively. Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam-Carey are also in tow as a pair of surly teenagers, as our motley crew set about trying to survive the outbreak of the zombie plague documented in the original series.

The new show takes place at the same time as the early series of The Walking Dead, although there has been no suggestion at this stage that events will cross over at all. Still, for fans of the original this promises to be another grisly treat, with Dickens and co. looking every bit as engaging as Andrew Lincoln and chums.
Fear The Walking Dead airs on AMC in the US on Sundays, and on AMC (exclusive to BT) in the UK from Monday 31 August.
