Killzone 3 demo coming in a few weeks, in 2D and 3D

Killzone 3 is one of the most anticipated PS3 games of the year and one that Sony surely wants to showcase as the ultimate example of 3D gaming. Good news for those who seriously can't wait until February 22 - a demo of the game has just been announced that will go live a week before that.

On February 15th, you'll be able to hunker down and play through a small part of the game. If you're rich enough to have a 3D TV, you'll even get the privilege of playing through the demo in glorious 3D. However, the demos will be split so make sure you don't spend hours of your precious time downloading the 3D demo when you don't have a 3D TV. It won't work.

But say you're the biggest Killzone fan in the world, you can't wait until February 15, and your hands are shaking just thinking about it. What then? First, try calming down a bit. Geez. If that doesn't work, then join PlayStation Plus, because paid subscribers will be able to access the demo on February 8, which is just 13 days away.

And if you can't wait that long, well, then you'll have to grab Brad Pitt and George Clooney and come up with an elaborate heist which involves sneaking into the Guerrilla Games studios.

The demo is also Move-enabled... just don't get too aggressive when practicing those motion-controlled melee attacks for the first time.
