Mass Effect 3 Final Fantasy XIII-2 Final Fantasy XIII-2 Mass Effect 3
Tom Goulter

With the debate regarding the Mass Effect 3 ending still open (you know things are serious when even the Bioware co-founder weighs in), Square Enix's teased a potential solution in the form of an upcoming DLC item. Is ME3's ending satisfactory? Does it beg comprehension? It is all a dream? No problems: just have Shepard 'n' pals take a visit to Final Fantasy, where all of the above are par for the course and no one ever seems to mind.

Alright, so only Shepard's armor seems to have made it through, but there's no need for it to go to waste, as seen in the above shot Famitsu (via Andriasang) have released showing Noel and Serah all kitted out in the N7 duds. It'll be released in Japan later in the month for 240 MSP, which means it ought to run to $3 here.

Famitsu's also shown pics of two of the game's upcoming DLC Coliseum monsters, Ultros and Typhon, who you may recognize if you've been playing Final Fantasy since comic-relief Gilbert and Sullivan side-quests were just something the series would throw at you sometimes. In which case, life probably holds few surprises for you anymore, so thanks for giving us a chance to tell you something new.
