The ill-fated Fantastic Four reboot from earlier this year seems to have lost its sequel, as Fox pulls the release date from its schedule. According to Comicbook.com, Fox had originally penned a sequel to the critically panned film by Josh Trank for 2017, but it's now been removed entirely from their future line-up.
Fox had always insisted that there would be a sequel to the superhero flick, despite a massively poor reception - both from audiences and critics. Their delusions persisted as reports of numerous on-set incidents, including cast and crew fallouts and a general lack of organisation, came to light.
