Doodle Jump coming to XBLA with Kinect support

Thanks to Xbox LiveArcade and Xbox Live Indie Games, a lot of low-budget but immensely creative titles have managed to find their way to the console. But iPhone superstar Doodle Jump could herald a new beginning for the Xbox service - porting motion-controlled apps to Kinect.

In the iPhone version, players use tilt controls to keep the character, Doodle, from bumping into obstacles while flying up a never-ending vertical chasm.Tilt controlswillbecome motion controls for the Xbox 360, making Doodle Jump the first iPhone game (or legit indie game) to make the move to Kinect. This and other likely iPhone portsare a further example of the potential reach for the hot-selling motion camera.

"After such incredible first two years, it is safe to say Doodle Jump has exceeded even our wildest imaginations. We are looking forward to bringing even more amazing content to millions of Doodle Jump fans around the world," said Lima Sky founder Igor Pusenjak.
