Batman Arkham Knight delayed again but don't panic

So we’re just going to have to wait a little longer for the world’s greatest detective on new-gen consoles, but it’s not quite the batarang to the face that it could have been. Batman Arkham Knight has slipped from its June 2nd release date to a not unreasonable June 23rd.

Following a similar situation to Uncharted 4 a few weeks ago, a statement from Rocksteady game director Sefton Hill says “We’re a developer that hates to make any compromises, so we’re sorry to say this means it’s going to be just a little bit longer until you can play the epic conclusion to the Arkham trilogy… We are working as hard as we can to make you proud.” Aw, well ok Sefton, when you put it so nicely...

As a reward for our patience and “to make the wait even more unbearable” Rocksteady has released a new chunk of gameplay. See below. We’re coping. Just.

In other Batnews, rumours are circling that Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are being brought to PS4 and Xbox One as part of a remastered collection. Warner Bros. has no comment on the speculations.
