GamesRadar+ Approved - Sponsored Offer Lego
This is the best Lego gift you can give yourself for Christmas, and it's totally free
Becoming a Lego Insider has its perks (literally)
I know it's all about giving presents around this time of year, but you can't beat a good self-gift. After all, why shouldn't you have nice things too? And if you're a fan of the best Lego sets, I have the perfect idea... but it won't cost you anything.
Dear reader, let me introduce you to the Lego store's Insider initiative. If you're anything like me, you'll have rolled your eyes and scrolled straight past it before now. But actually, it's well worth a look - and I regret not giving it a chance sooner. Rather than being a subscription or complicated headache waiting to happen as I'd initially assumed, it's actually the company's free loyalty programme that has some pretty tasty benefits. Be it redeemable points, members-only sales, and early access, it's a handy self-gift that should come in very handy throughout the year ahead.
Essentially, being an Insider gains you access to a load of cool stuff you wouldn't otherwise get - and it's completely free. The most notable benefit are the points you earn with every purchase, because these can be put toward your next kit or other rewards. However, the other bonuses are more useful if you ask me. Besides members-only benefits like exclusive sales and Legoland tickets, Insiders can also nab exclusive gifts and gain early access to sets. We cover all of the new sets that arrive each month here at GamesRadar+, and it's a common theme for the hottest ones to sell out incredibly quickly. As an Insider, you can jump on the bandwagon days earlier than everyone else and potentially avoid disappointment. I'd say that's worth signing up in itself.
Because that's all you need to do to become an Insider; just sign in to the Lego store. Then you're away! It's minimum effort, maximum reward.
So, want to give yourself a treat this Christmas? That's a pretty good start, if you ask me.
