May 4 is a bit like Christmas for Star Wars fans thanks to a Corellian freighter's worth of merch that gets announced each year, but this time, we're celebrating early. That's because Loungefly has asked us to exclusively reveal a host of goodies based on a galaxy far, far away right here - and you've got the first look.

There's a bounty of four items thawing out of carbonite ahead of their release today, and they range from a Grogu-inspired mini-backpack to a Darth Maul bag (just in time for Maul - Shadow Lord). Because there's a variety of bags on offer, you should find something to suit you regardless of the cargo you're transporting this Star Wars Day... be it Imperial credits from your latest job to the best Star Wars toys. I think they'd probably fit the new Jedi Temple Guard lightsaber we exclusively revealed this week, too.

So, there you have it - a rogue's gallery of new Star Wars Loungefly gear. Personally speaking, my favorite is the Grogu Mini Backpack up top. It would have been easy to just slap Baby Yoda on it and call things quits, but the body of the bag itself has been modelled after the character's tunic - it has woolly sections like the collar or sleeves and a belt for his chestplate. It goes above and beyond, which I appreciate.

I also like the Anzellan Bucket Crossbody bag. If you took Grogu and the Anzellans off, it'd look like something I can see Star Wars characters wearing in-universe... or at the very least, in the Galaxy's Edge Disney themepark. That's a huge win in my book.
