Forget thatsilly sequel on the Wii- Tales of Vesperia on the Xbox 360 is the real continuation of the Tales series. Just in time for the 10th anniversary of the series, Vesperia is set in a world where an evil Empire is trying to control all of the ancient technology called "blastia," the story follows two friends out on different paths to save their world… or destroy it.
Stunning HD and an all-new graphics engine promised immersive, detailed environments that take the interactive gameplay to a whole new level - they’re actually hard to tell apart from broadcast-quality cel-based animation.See for yourself. And the character designs (by anime man Kosuke Fujishima of Ah! My Goddess fame) are everything we’ve come to expect from Tales: cute, colorful and barely proportionate.
Players can expect to see the real time battle system from Tales of Symphonia in its evolved form, which allows for larger battles on bigger fields. Special attacks linked to weapons, finishing moves tied to timed button presses and that action-packed, fast-paced feel of combat are other things RPG fans can look forward to as Tales of Vesperia brings the standard-setting RPG experience to the Xbox 360 this summer.
