Only God Forgives has been getting an awful lot of press of late: first, a delirious new poster drops , and then the film is confirmed for Cannes 2013 .
And now, a couple of new teasers have arrived, giving a better idea of the plot than the previous red-band version .
It’s set to be a glacially cool affair, with Kristin Scott Thomas’ domineering mother-figure at the forefront. She arrives in Thailand to investigate the death of one of her sons. Ryan Gosling plays another of her offspring, and he’s roped into seeking bloody vengeance for his sibling.
Directed by Drive ’s Nicolas Winding Refn, Only God Forgives looks set to be equally as stylish and violent as that 2011 thriller. Count us in.

There's also a Cannes-themed, French-subtitled trailer, which you can watch below (via The Film Stage ):
Only God Forgives will open in the UK at some point during summer 2013.
