By now you’ve probably seen the Stark upgrades to Spidey’s suit (web wings!) but Spider-Man: Homecoming will also include the webhead having one last Tony-designed trick up its sleeve. Or more like on his sleeve.
Marvel have sneakily released a video on Twitter detailing Spidey’s getup. Spider-Man is stylin’ and profilin’ and now he has a GPS tracking system with a holographic display. Eat your heart out, Uber.
The most important upgrade out of #CES2017. #SpiderManHomecoming pic.twitter.com/PmJ0KDYpoYJanuary 5, 2017
Spider-Man has previous for trackers – think the Spider-Tracer-Tracker from the animated series – but Tony Stark has given Peter Parker a nifty upgrade for the 21st Century. Now there’s no chance of baddies finding the tracker and thinking ‘Gee, I wonder who left this giant spider tracker here?’ It was never Spidey’s smartest design choice.
A GPS tracking system with a holographic display maybe isn’t the best thing to give to a teenage boy but, hey, who am I to judge?
Directed by Jon Watts and starring Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Marisa Tomei and Donald Glover, Spider-Man: Homecoming will hit theaters on July 7, 2017.

I'm the Senior Entertainment Writer here at GamesRadar+, focusing on news, features, and interviews with some of the biggest names in film and TV. On-site, you'll find me marveling at Marvel and providing analysis and room temperature takes on the newest films, Star Wars and, of course, anime. Outside of GR, I love getting lost in a good 100-hour JRPG, Warzone, and kicking back on the (virtual) field with Football Manager. My work has also been featured in OPM, FourFourTwo, and Game Revolution.
