SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY! brings every kid's dream to life: a day off with no school, and a town wide war fought with dubious fantasy tropes and weaponised farts. With everywhere shut down by the icy weather, Cartman, Stan, Kenny and Kyle declare war to save the town from an endless winter. Which is where you, the New Kid, come in - as the returning star of South Park: The Stick of Truth, South Park: The Fractured but Whole, and South Park: Phone Destroyer you once again get to create your own hero, and join the gang in glorious battle.
This is a 100% TV authentic experience as well, from South Park Digital Studios, Question Studios and THQ Nordic, and with series creators Matt and Trey at hand, to make sure your adventure is filled with authentic South Park humour and moments. Although there will be a few new ideas you won't have seen before. It's the first 3D South Park world for example, letting you see the town and all its crazy inhabitants like never before. And it's the first co-op South Park game, letting you fight alongside three friends as you combine and coordinate attacks (you can also play solo or with bots).
This time around you'll be able to fight in real time as you swing swords and cast spells, with all out action replacing the turn-based combat of previous games, to let you better team up and work together. Choose from a range of melee weapons, special attacks and powers to take into battle as you unleash your own personal hell with the press of a button. You can also use a range of new cards to power up both you and your team. That might be accessing the ability to emit noxious fumes, blast enemies with laser eyes, or rain down meteors from the sky. These cards give you an extra edge in battle and turn the fight in your favour.
And, finally, it wouldn't be a South Park game without the option to customise your New Kid character with instantly recognisable cosmetics and iconic looks from the show. From Chin Balls to Cheesy Poof T-shirts, South Park: Snow Day will let you dress the part.
