Imagine if Reservoir Dogs ' Mr Blonde hooked up with Hannibal Lecter and they went for dinner with the nutter from Wolf Creek .

That goes some way to describing Luke Evans’ psychopath in Ryuhei Kitamura’s unhinged thriller.

He’s an expert in physical and psychological torture who’s been toying with Adelaide Clemens’ kidnapped heiress for months; when he encounters some violent hicks, there’s only going to be one winner.

Sick, bloody and over the top, it’s typified by the moment where Evans puts a new spin on the phrase ‘body bag’.

Depending on taste, you’ll be left either barfing or laughing.
