Epic VP Mark Rein has said that we won't be seeing anything of a Gears of War sequel at E3 next month, responding to yesterday's rumors that a trailer would be shown at Microsoft's pre-E3 event in Santa Monica.
Yesterday a story claiming to have uncovered all of Microsoft's E3 goods swept the internet. In that story was mention of Epic Games showing some form of Gears of War 2 trailer.
Fansite Beyond Unreal got in touch with Epic's Mark Rein who said, "We are not announcing a sequel to Gears of War at E3 this year. Did you see the update we just did for Gears of War last week? We're still working on the first one."
And a fine job you're doing of it too.
