Taking time out from gabbing into a microphone for Shrek 3 and developing his star-vehicle about The Who drummer Keith Moon, Mike Myers has been busy scribbling on the dotted line this week.
The Canadian gag-slinger is in the frame to re-team with his Austin Powers producer Michael De Luca to star in How To Survive A Robot Uprising for Paramount Pictures.
The tale is based on a manual penned by a doctoral candidate from the Robotics Institute Of Carnegie Mellon University - a fella called Daniel H Wilson.
Paramount snaffled up the rights to the book last year, charging Herbie: Fully Loaded and Night At The Museum scribers Thomas Lennon and Ben Garant with the task of adapting it into a movie.
Myers will take on the role of a technical bod who attempts to stop the robots from slipping out of control.
