On the other hand, MLB 07's got plenty of online legs as well. User-created leagues can be comprised of anywhere from six to 30 teams. The gamut of stat-tracking, leaderboards, and rewards are in effect, and a human commissioner rules over things with an iron fist. The online portion also has player cards, downloadable sliders, and a sportscast feature to track real-life baseball happenings
Sony has really embraced the league retraction of MLB-licensed baseball games, and is putting out some quality titles. MLB 07: The Show shows no signs of this series hitting a slump. Our only question mark so far is how the PS3 version will look, as we have yet to see it in action.
