Anticipation for the revelations of E3 is starting to mount and, among the many rumors flying around, the one that keeps cropping up regards Mario's racing series making its debut appearance on Wii.
Word is, Nintendo has a couple of surprises in store. As well as Mario Kart Wii, speculation hawks will also be keeping an ear out for a rumored hardware-related revelation from Nintendo, currently hinted to be either a Wii hard drive or, not quite so major, the microphone remote attachment.
It's also expected that Nintendo will confirm the final release date for The Big Three - Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and the pants-wettingly exciting Super Mario Galaxy, all of which are promised for release this year.
We're not staking bets on any of this yet, with Nintendo insisting it's all simply rumor and speculation and refusing to comment further. But after all this hype, we hope at least ONE surprise is in store, or we'll be hunting down the rumor-making scum out there to kick their virtual faces in.
