Yet that beat is one of the things that keeps you coming back to Lumines. The cool techno and quirky Asian pop are usually as addictive as the gameplay itself. And Lumines Plus hopes to appeal to a wider musical palette than before, combining puzzle "skins" and soundtracks from both Lumines and Lumines II to offer more variety. In addition to the club-inspired thump and Tokyo-flavored bounce, we experienced a black and white board accompanied by tinkling piano as well as a red-yellow-green African-themed level with reggae riffs.
