It may have the daftest of titles, but if you're looking for kid-pleasing summer amusement you could do worse than this Danish cartoon. The somewhat silly plot centres on three kids who accidentally happen across the workshop of amiably mad Professor MacKrill.

The prof has developed a potion that turns humans into fish and soon the children are swimming around a marine wonderland. But the potion's antidote makes existing marine life highly intelligent and fish leader Joe (Alan Rickman) refuses to part with his evolutionary shortcut. Especially as he's bent on building a fishy fascist state (fischist state, perhaps?).

Rickman's trademark villainy and the well-realised underwater stuff make up for the irritating songs. Should send all but the most cynical family members away smiling.
