Gears of War lead designer Cliff Blezinsky (aka Cliffy B) believes that once work is finished on the sure-to-be-a-hit shooter from Epic Games he'll immediately get busy on a sequel.
When asked during an interview with Reuters what will be on his agenda after Gears of War has been released, Blezinsky revealed, "Probably Gears of War 2, I'd imagine".
With its post-apocalyptic style and brutal gun lust, there's absolutely no doubt that Gears of War is one of the most tantalising prospects incoming to Xbox 360. And, from what we saw of Gears of War at this year's E3, Epic Games and Microsoft have every right to pre-empt that the game will be more than successful enough to warrant a sequel.
