This stylish 3D roguelike action platformer might give Dead Cells a run for its money
Just revealed at FGS Live from GDC
SlashZero is a 3D roguelike action platformer that just debuted at the FGS Live From showcase and it's seriously stylish.
You play as a Timehacker, where it's your job to travel across timelines in a cyberpunk world to collect items and clues to take down the so-called Lord of the Void.
As you'd hope in a game like this, there's a focus on mastering moves and in-depth combos in fast-paced action. There's fluid, parkour-inspired action with impressive aerial moves all set against an almost Cyberpunk Edgerunners art style.
You're going to need those moves though, as multi-layered maps present plenty of foes looking to kick some Timehacker butt. With several different Timehackers to test out for yourself, you're bound to find the one that best fits your playstyle, but you can also utilize Authority Keys, Authority Blessings, and Authority Codes to further customize your build.
There's a literal key(s) to saving the world in SlashZero, or in this case, HIEROS. Good luck Timehacker.
There's no release date yet for SlashZero, but we do know when it does arrive it'll be on PC and PS5. Plus, you can sign up via the game's official website to jump into the playtest right now. Plus, don't forget to wishlist it on Steam to get the latest updates.
