Arc Raiders Movie Night quest walkthrough and guide

The Arc Raiders Movie Night quest has players sent into Stella Montis to find a stack of tapes, followed soon by a portable TV so you can actually watch them. But Stella Montis is famously a big labyrinth, and it's not clear where you should look for a portable television at all. Below I'll explain where to find both of these things, so you can set up Arc Raider's movie night properly.

To find the Stack of Movie Tapes for the Movie Night quest in Arc Raiders, players have to go to Stella Montis and the Southwest corner of Cultural Archives, marked by graffiti blue X on the wall next to some furniture covered by a sheet.

Interact with the furniture and you'll get the Stack of Movie Tapes, but keep in mind that you'll have to extract safely with them. To do that, I recommend bringing a Raider Key with you, as there's a Raider Hatch just below in the Eastern Tunnel.

Portable TVs in Arc Raiders are Rare random loot drops. These items are classed as Residential, and have a good chance to be found in any of the following locations:

  • Buried City
    • Grandioso Apartments
    • Santa Maria Houses
    • Red Tower
  • Blue Gate
    • Village
    • Raider's Refuge
    • Ruined Homestead

That being said, they can also be found generally in non-Residential locations (though your odds are far less). I personally found one in the Buried Properties section of Buried City, though clearly I was beating the odds to some degree. People have also recorded finding them in high numbers in the same Cultural Archives section that you found the tapes in, which makes sense, though I cannot personally confirm that – I explored it myself, but have yet to see one there.

No matter how you get it, bring the Portable TV back to Apollo to end the quest and claim the rewards:

  • Showstoppers (x3)
  • Smoke Grenades (x3)
  • Fireworks Box (x1)
