Take on a variety of realistic law enforcement roles and keep the city safe with Police Simulator
If you're ready to do your duty and clean up the mean streets of Faremont, then your badge awaits in this crime-fighting sequel
Publisher Astragon is well known for its range of simulation games, covering everything from construction sites and firefighting to seafaring and bus driving. However, many will be most familiar with Police Simulator: Patrol Officers, which has allowed players to experience the day to day life of a police officer in the fictious American city of Brighton since 2022.
As revealed during the Future Games Show at gamescom, there's now a sequel on the way, so it's time to grab your badge and head out to patrol the streets of Faremont as we take an exclusive first look at Police Simulator.
The trailer leads us across the city, highlighting the range of law enforcement roles on offer, starting with an armed robbery at a coffee shop that quickly escalates into a high speed vehicle chase. As a helicopter closes in on the action, we cut to another officer issuing a traffic ticket for a parking violation, showing that it's not all high octane work!
The next scene features a road accident, with a truck arriving to perform vehicle recovery while officers manage the crowds and direct the flow of traffic. As the full tilt chase continues through the city, an officer on a bridge uses a speed gun to clock how fast the car is going, while another is startled while purchasing roadside donuts.
Finally, with the suspect bailing from their vehicle to avoid stinger strips on the road and running into an alleyway, a K9 dog unit is released to chase and subdue them until an officer can tackle the offender to the floor and place them in cuffs. Just another day upholding the law in Faremont.
Police Simulator is coming to PC via Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X, and while it doesn't have a release window at this stage you can wishlist it on Steam, follow the game on X and Facebook, or join the publisher's Discord to receive all of the latest news on developments.
