Marvel's Wolverine pre-orders have unleashed onto the PS5, but there's no Collector's Edition to sink your claws into
Marvel's Wolverine launches on PS5 on September 15
Marvel's Wolverine clawed its way to the top of the State of Play announcements on June 2, as Insomniac Games revealed a new batch of gory gameplay and a reminder that we can finally unleash hell as Logan as soon as September 15.
More importantly, Marvel's Wolverine pre-orders have been unleashed at US and UK retailers. Starting now, you can grab the Standard Edition for $69 (Walmart) / £64.95 (TheGameCollection) if you're after a physical copy, or $79.99 (PS Store) / £79.99 (PS Store) for the Digital Deluxe Edition if you're after a digital one. Picking up both this early will grant you a set of in-game pre-order bonuses, including an early access Brown Suit and a set of Reflective Claws to use in-game. But if you were after 19 inches of Wolverine as part of a fancy Collector's Edition, you'll have to go empty-handed.
Unlike Insomniac Games' last Spidey outing, there's no fancy version of Marvel's Wolverine for PS5 up for grabs. While you'll have to do without a plastic replica of Logan's claws or iconic helmet, the Deluxe Digital Edition does at least pack in all the in-game pre-order bonuses, along with up to five exclusive suits and five exclusive sets of claws to help satiate your collecting ways.
Marvel's Wolverine US Pre-orders
Marvel's Wolverine │$69 at Walmart
There isn't a lot of early discounts out there so far, but the best place to secure your Marvel's Wolverine pre-order is Walmart. The PS5 game is just $69, saving you 99 cents off its total price. It's not the biggest saving in the world, but it's better than nothing.
Marvel's Wolverine │Check stock at Amazon
Marvel's Wolverine has yet to appear at Bezos HQ, but that's not a surprise. It usually takes a couple of days after a big announcement like State of Play for pre-orders to drop, but I'll be sure to update this page when it does.
Marvel's Wolverine │$69.99 at Best Buy
Best Buy was quick to the mark to unleash its Marvel's Wolverine pre-order after the State of Play announcement. Right now, you can secure your Standard Edition copy for its full $69.99 price, and collect it on release day, or set it to arrive on (or shortly after) September 15, 2026.
Marvel's Wolverine │$69.99 at PS Direct
If you prefer to get your PS5 games straight from the source, you can grab your Marvel's Wolverine pre-order from PS Direct US right now. There's no early discount to be found as it's available for its full $69.99 MSRP, but it's one of the best places to grab it if you want it sent as close to release day as possible.
Marvel's Wolverine │$69.99 at GameStop
If you still get all your game shopping done at GameStop, you can also put in your Marvel's Wolverine pre-order today. Just be aware that GameStop can take up to 2-3 days to get the copy to your door.
Marvel's Wolverine UK Pre-orders
Marvel's Wolverine │£64.95 at TheGameCollection
The best possible price you can grab for your Marvel's Wolverine pre-order is at TheGameCollection in the UK. Securing your copy just requires £64.95, saving you £5.04 off its full MSRP before release. If you want this price, I recommend you grab it fast, as TheGameCollection pre-orders tend to sell out in no time.
Marvel's Wolverine │£64.99 at Smyths Toys
Smyths Toys is one of the next best places to grab your Marvel's Wolverine pre-order in the UK if you want the most cash off. The UK toy shop has dropped £5 off the game already, and as the game is over £20, you should get free delivery with your order too.
Marvel's Wolverine │£69.99 at Amazon
You can pick up your Marvel's Wolverine pre-order from Amazon for its full price starting today. While there's no early discount to be found, you can at least use your Prime membership to take advantage of the retailer's speedy shipping, which is one of the best ways to ensure you get your copy on day one, in my experience.
Marvel's Wolverine │£69.99 at Very
Very was really quick to drop its Marvel's Wolverine pre-order right after Sony's most recent State of Play. While Very is known to drop a couple of pounds off here and there, so far the game is sticking to its full £69.99 price, but it could come down in the lead-up to September.

Weekly digests, tales from the communities you love, and more

Ever since I first held a NES controller in my hand I've been obsessed with gaming, and the hardware it runs on. I could hook up a NES and SNES to a telly, without instructions, before I could walk. Even now, nothing is more exciting then taking a console, or handheld, out the box for the first time and setting it up. This obsession transformed into a love of games and game music, which lead to my music degree and dream of becoming the Scottish Nobuo Uematsu. After sharing my love of games through music, I began to share my love through words on sites like TechRadar and iMore. This lead to becoming a Hardware staff writer for PCGamesN, and later the Senior Tech Writer for Dexerto, covering all things Steam Deck, PlayStation and Nintendo. With that experience, I was able to level up as Hardware Editor for GamesRadar+, where I'm still just as Nintendo, PlayStation and gaming tech obsessed as ever.
