Subnautica 2's scares have nothing on this fully-underwater horror game
Dark Mass, a fully underwater horror game that makes Subnautica 2 feel like a casual meander down a lazy river, has unveiled a new trailer as part of the Future Games Show Summer Showcase.

Playing as Alice, a deep sea explorer who's investigating the remains of an ancient shipwreck, things quickly become stranger than they seem. The ship is just the start of the story, and Alice and her brother Reed uncover a perfectly-preserved manor house lurking deep beneath the waves.
The trailer offers a closer look at Dark Mass's fight for survival, as Alice explores the flooded manor, uncovering its story as she solves cryptic puzzles scattered throughout its halls. But there might also be something lurking in the dark depths that turns Dark Mass into a truly horrifying experience …
As part of the trailer, Dark Mass also revealed its physical editions. Released for PS5, both a Standard and Collector's Edition will be available, the latter coming with an official art book, a postcard, Alive's bracelet, the game's soundtrack, and an exclusive steelbook, as well as the physical copy of the game and the illustrated manual that will be available in the Standard Edition. There's no release date for Dark Mass just yet, but when it does launch it'll also be available for digital download on PS5, and on PC via Steam.
