The first trailer for G.I. Joe: Retaliation has landed online, and as you might have expected, it’s very big and very loud. What you might not have expected however, is that it’s also a lot of fun!
The film sees the G.I. Joes terminated bar a few survivors (including Adrianne Palicki and Dwayne Johnson), who must go head to head with the evil Zartan in order to clear their names.

Despite the plot appearing to bear more than a slight resemblance to that of Ghost Protocol , we’re cautiously optimistic about this one. The action looks very solid indeed (how about that mountainside sequence?), The Rock is suitably badass and Bruce Willis is on hand to supply some extra cool points.
Top marks also for that electro treatment of The White Stripes’ Seven Nation Army . We’ll be hoping the film can live up to this action-packed teaser when it arrives in UK cinemas on 22 June 2012.
