Final Fantasy 15: Episode Duscae will get a big update in early June
Demos don't often receive huge updates, but Final Fantasy 15: Episode Duscae isn't a typical demo. Square Enix has announced that Episode Duscae 2.0 will roll out in early June, according to an announcement translated by Gematsu.
The update will reportedly address several of the most common player concerns, including overall enhancements to the battle system, more combat actions, and a rejiggered camera and a targeting system. Square Enix says it plans to lock down a few more changes between now and the update's release - here's hoping for a more stable frame rate among them.
Even though Episode Duscae was sold as a packed-in bonus with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, it's clear that Square Enix is using it as a beta test, too. Considering how much FF15 shakes up the typical Final Fantasy format from combat to world exploration, it's a pretty good idea.
