Far Cry Instincts coming to PS2

Ubi Soft have shifted the tentative release date for Far Cry Instincts from the end of 2004 to the first quarter of 2005 while the bigger and better news is that the game will now also make it on to PS2 in addition to Xbox. Far Cry impressed on PC and we expect this reworked console adaptation to perform just as well, if not better.

The game isn't a simple port of Far Cry but includes major new gameplay mechanics, among other changes. Our when we saw it in action recently were very favourable and what we've seen since only confirms our initial enthusiasm.

Far Cry Instincts is scheduled to be released on PS2 and Xbox at the beginning of 2005
