Okay, Desperate Housewife fans. Be prepared for the fact that the usually demure and flawless Eva Longoria might just look a little ragged around the edges in Season Three.
Longoria, who plays Gabrielle Solis on the hit ABC show has struck an agreement with the network that enables her to shoot movies at the weekends, while strutting her stuff on Wisteria Lane all week.
Having already chalked up turns in The Sentinel (starring Michael Douglas and Kiefer Sutherland) and Harsh Times (with Christian Bale), Eva has signed to star in the comedy How I Met My Boyfriend’s Dead Fiancée.
John Tucker Must Die scribbler Jeff Lowell penned the tale about a female psychic who has her new relationship tested to the limit by her boyfriend’s dead missus.
Anchorman and 40-Year-Old Virgin gagslinger Paul Rudd is on the books to play the sceptical man in the middle, while TV talent Lake Bell (Boston Legal, The Practice) will take on the role of the all-seeing, all-suffering psychic.
