Daredevil star Charlie Cox wants Foggy Nelson to be Born Again – with a villainous twist
Speaking at a Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) panel, Cox broached the topic of bringing Elden Henson's fellow avocado-at-law back into the fray, despite the legal mind being killed by Bullseye during the first season premiere of Daredevil: Born Again.
Unfortunately for those hoping for a measured take on Foggy being brought back to life, Cox was only too happy to disappoint.
"I think Foggy should be resurrected by Elektra, and then he takes over leadership of the Hand," Cox said with a smirk.
While we wouldn't be surprised to see Foggy somehow make a return (he is confirmed to appear in Daredevil: Born Again season 2, though likely via flashbacks), we don't anticipate he'll be running around with red-clad ninjas anytime soon.
After all, Foggy has been one of Marvel's most steadfast good guys for over six decades, save for a hilarious one-shot issue in the mid-1980s that saw him inadvertently presented as a master assassin by the name of 'Guts' Nelson while bumping into some of New York's heaviest hitters.
The Hand, meanwhile, have a storied history in the MCU. They operated as one of the biggest threats to the Defenders, backed by their leader Alexandra Reid (Sigourney Weaver.) The group is also set to have a presence in Spider-Man: Brand New Day alongside another familiar face from Marvel's street-level series: Jon Bernthal's The Punisher.

One scene involving The Hand has seemingly been edited in the first Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer, launching a tidal wave of speculation that a top-secret character could be teaming up with Spider-Man in a climactic fight scene. While Hulk, Punisher, and Daredevil remain top candidates, can we really rule out Foggy?
