Hit the Share button!

PlayStation 4's Share Button has absolutely lived up to its promise of allowing gamers everywhere the chance to save and share their favourite moments. But while it's pretty much impossible to avoid shared screenshots and videos if you have any kind of connection to the internet, have you ever tried actively looking through the stream of screens?

It's remarkable what people get up to. But obviously some people just love posting spoilers, making it a dangerous game to play. So I've navigated the treacherous waters of Twitter for you and selected the best recent screenshots on the #PS4Share hashtag for you to enjoy. Let's go!

The Journey shot everyone's taking

The Journey shot everyone's taking

At first glance, you'd be forgiven for thinking everyone's retweeting the same screenshot, but no - they're actually all so astounded by the beauty that they reach for their virtual cameras. Of all the versions, I think this one by @_volt88 is the best-framed. Beautiful.

Bat-Eye

Bat-Eye

Batman's character models are excellent, but it's the eyes that really shine. But I didn't realise quite how burning the Dark Knight's retinas really are. This up-close grab by @RM4A1 is startling.

Driveclub's photo mode is incredible, we know this. But it's also incredible just how many great pictures are still coming out of it. This one by @Didact343 looks far too good to come from a video game.

Batman doesn't kill anyo... ah forget it

Batman doesn't kill anyo... ah forget it

Batman's non-lethal approach to justice is admirable. But look at this picture and ask yourself: is this thug really going to merely wake up sore in jail? It's probably better he doesn't wake up at all. Imagine the horror when he looks down and sees that. Thanks to @EMannLand for capturing this amazing moment.

Glad someone's enjoying it

All the S ranks in Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition is indeed worthy of sharing with the world. Great work @Ryu_666. Even if it does look like the entire results screen was compiled by a snake.

Part one of two...

Part one of two...

Poor @ApexCris tweeted this pic along with the words: "Oh, you want a Gjallarhorn? Well, i'll give you a Hardlight. 3 times. In 2 weeks. F U" It's probably not worthy of highlighting on its own, but just a few tweets down...

@GjallarhornRL posted: "Number 3! #PS4share". I couldn't help but laugh. Ah, Destiny...

Another pic from Journey on PS4. Look how long those scarves are! This one from @shu_n_2.
