Sonic makes it big
[360] The hedgehog hero bristles in new next-gen shots
Sonic the Hedgehog, the PS3 and Xbox 360 outing for Sega's spiky superhero, is absolutely hu-uge - just point your eyes atthenew next-gen screenshots we've rustled up (they're under the Images tab above) for an idea of how big Sonic's world has become. You'll also catch a glance of the barbed one's robotic enemies, who seem able to chase you around each level, launching barrages of hog-seeking missiles.
Billed as a reinvention of Sonic's much-loved platforming exploits, Sonic the Hedgehog is aiming to deliver eye-bleedingly fast action only possible with next-gen hardware muscle and is speeding towards a release later this year.
