Resogun devs next game, Alienation, looks like a follow-up to Dead Nation

Blast aliens to bits
Housemarque, the developer behind such classics as Dead Nation, Super Stardust HD and a little game called Resogun, is developing a new twin-stick shooter for PS4. The game is called Alienation, which does imply a sequel of sorts to Dead Nation the zombie-shooting fiesta on PS3, PS4 and PS Vita.
Indeed, gameplay is seen from a similar, slightly-slanted top-down viewpoint and the action packs in loads of monstrous enemies on-screen.
The action also appears to be amplified in several key areas, notably the number of characters fighting on your side, (whom you can support or go rogue on your own) and the size of the weapon effects. Massive balls of flame were shown being fired into crowds of monsters in the Gamescom announcement video.
It wasnt made clear whether the game will support more than two players, but it does look likely. In fact, details are scarce at present, without even the hint of a release date. Even so, Housemarque has got to be one of the most exciting software houses in the world right now, so its worth watching their output very closely. Keep watching GamesRadar for more on Alienation.
