The first full trailer for the final Harry Potter movie, Deathly Hallows Part 2 , has finally landed online.
Unloading a batch of impressive new footage from the film, this closing chapter in the Potter saga sees the events of over a decade of filmmaking finally come to a climax.
So Harry Potter faces evil wizard Voldemort in Hogwarts, which becomes the setting for a frankly humongous battle between witches, wizards, Death Eaters and – according to this trailer – giant flaming snakes.

Basically, all the epic, flashy action that was missing from Part 1 (a more quest-y road movie) is here, just as we had hoped it would be.
So Hogwarts is up in flames, huge armies are assembled, Harry goes toe-to-toe with old no-nose, and a blizzard of special effects really brings the magic to life.
Best of all, Julie Walters finally gets to do something during a fight with Helena Bonham-Carter (a moment that’s sure to reap audience cheers).
We can’t wait.
