Looking for your next guilty gaming pleasure? Well, look no further. Bandai Namco’s Godzilla is stomping onto PS3 and PS4 on July the 14th in North America and July the 17th in Europe and it looks like a glorious playable B movie.
Animated in the style of the old Godzilla films, the game lets you grow up to a hundred metres tall and stars not only the original big lizard but also Mecha Godzilla, Destroyah, King Ghidorah and Gigan among other enormous nasties. The order of the day is of course to destroy as much city as possible and take out Energy Generators. However, these things are never easy and other legendary monsters pop up for battle.
PS4 exclusives include Space Godzilla and the ability to battle two monsters at once. Words cannot quite convey the sheer hokey carnage on offer here. Check out the explosive trailer below and try and tell me you aren’t ridiculously excited (and probably just a little bit guilty).
