The Emmys 2017 is the place to be to celebrate all things TV and this year’s award ceremony didn’t disappoint. A whole host of debut winners, record-breakers and, yes, Star Wars actors took to the stage to collect their well-deserved gongs.

Game of Thrones season 7’s late debut spared the majority of awards from coming Westeros’ way – look out Emmys 2018 – so it was left to Westworld and Stranger Things to take the attention of pop-culture fans everywhere. Unfortunately Hosts and Demogorgons aren’t enough to grab you an award these days, with The Handmaid’s Tale and This Is Us coming up trumps in most of the major categories.

There was success, though, for the Han Solo movie’s Donald Glover, Star Wars: Rogue One’s Riz Ahmed and Star Wars: The Last Jedi’s Laura Dern. Star Wars’ present and future is certainly looking golden.
