2060 Cyber Racer is actually not a bad racing game by Xbox Live Indie standards. The cars handle fairly well and the different vehicles available have distinctive characteristics. There is a decent sense of speed and crashing doesn’t make you launch into orbit.
Unfortunately, this is all for nothing because playing the game will vaporize your retinas. The game apparently takes place in some cyber world where everything is covered in Matrix style green-and-black textures. Once you accelerate, the constant flashing of green-black-green starts working at your brain, trying desperately to melt your neurons. Do not play this game if you’re at risk for epileptic seizures unless you want to make your friends believe you’ve been possessed.
