Tom Clancy's EndWar tipped for DS, PSP?

World War III downsized for handhelds

Tom Clancy's EndWar creative director Michael de Plater is reported to have confirmed that the RTS will be released on DS and PSP, as well as 360 and PS3.

According to several reports from the Game Developers Conference, de Plater confirmed the game will making its way to handheld platforms in the future. That's all we've got to go on, for the moment as nothing official has come from Ubisoft.

EndWar takes place during World War III, where most of the Earth's resources have been depleted. Players take control of an army to fight over the residual resources, like mineshafts.

There's a lot of noise about a March 2009 release date. We've contacted Ubisoft for confirmation. Stay tuned.
