The Rock Band DLC for the week of March 11 has been announced on the official Rock Band forums.

Engadget reports: We've already seen a real drum kit modded for use with Rock Band, but that's unsurprisingly not the only bit of customization going on, as evidenced by this considerably scaled down kit created by David Yoon.
Harmonix and MTV Games recently announced plans to take gamers on a long strange trip with the first selection of downloadable Grateful Dead tracks for the revolutionary music video game Rock Band. The first six of 18 classic Grateful Dead master recordings are set to hit rock band March 4.
Media giant Viacom has its most recent yearly financial report, highlighting an additional $208.7 million in performance-based earnouts for developer Harmonix, following the success of Rock Band, published by Viacom subsidiary MTV Games.
Guitar Hero III gives us No Doubt the week we get NIN in Rock Band and now Harmonix is upping the ante yet again. Next week, Rock Band owners will get the Grateful Dead pack.

This week's batch of Rock Band DLC is a triumvirate of Trent Reznor's industrial flare. It was noted in an copy of Official Xbox Magazine from late January, although for a March 18 release. The songs (all master tracks):

So imagine our surprise when we read this morning that Valve used their party on Wednesday night to let it slip that Jonathan Coulton's brilliant song "Still Alive" would be available as DLC on Rock Band."

The Rock Band Drum Kit (Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system) has a suggested retail price of $79.99.
iTunes has now decided to cash in on the Rock Band cash cow. They have compiled all the songs used in Rock Band into one place on the iTunes store allowing you to download all your favorites to your hearts content. If you want all of them though it's going to cost you a pretty penny. At .99 a song the whole catalog will set you back $73.26.
While over at Wal-Mart earlier today, Loot Ninja spotted a nice stack of Rock Band drum kits for sale. They had both Xbox 360 and PS3 versions for $79.92. Yeah, gotta love being 7 cents below MSRP.
