Harmonix and MTV Games have recently added the Jane's Addiction album, Nothing's Shocking, to the line-up of downloadable content (DLC) that you're now able to buy and download to play with your Xbox 360 version of Rock Band.

Harmonix and MTV Games announced today that the officially licensed Rock Band Kick Pedalwith Double Bass Adaptor from Performance Designed Products (PDP) is available now at retail stores. The Rock Band Kick Pedal with Double Bass Adaptor allows players to use two Rock Band kick pedals at the same time.

Harmonix and MTV Games today announced that metal band Bullet For My Valentine and alternative rockers The Shins will make their debut next week in the Rock Band® Music Store of downloadable content. In addition, heavy metal band Black Tide delivers another explosive track to Rock Band fans.

1UP is reporting that Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" is coming to Rock Band on Xbox 360 on Tuesday, March 31 and PS3 on Thursday, April 2.
Harmonix has announced they will be adding Pearl Jam's debut album, Ten, to the Rock Band Store. It will be appearing on the Xbox Live Marketplace on Tuesday, March 24, the same day a deluxe edition reissue of the CD will be available in stores. PlayStation 3 owners will get a chance to download it on Thursday, March 26.
The official tally of playable music in the Rock Band catalog is 591 songs. PWN or DIE wanted to take a look at this list and see what they can tell about the songs they have chosen to include so far. They took time to make graphs to show some of the data compared by genre, decade, source, and more. Some of what they found is is a little surprising.

14 tracks from Jimmy Eat World, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and No Doubt will be added to the Rock Band Music Store for Nintendo Wii this tomorrow. Wii fans should rejoice as the music is coming quicker to the platform than before. In fact, the music from No Doubt and Stevie Ray Vaughan will be released for Wii the same day as the Xbox 360 and two days before the Playstation 3, just announced on Friday. The Jimmy Eat World tracks were just added to the other two consoles the week before.
Next week music from No Doubt and Stevie Ray Vaughan will be added to the Rock Band DLC catalog. No Doubt will add one more song added from their Return of Saturn album while all ten songs from Stevie Ray Vaughan's debut album Texas Flood will be available as a pack or individually.
