The 5th live action viral for Resident Evil 5 is now live on the official Resident Evil website.
The DLC for RE5 has been revealed to be what are essentially survival, deathmatch and team deathmatch modes for Mercenaries. It will be free to download.

Eastern Mind is showing some photos of the European Special Edition of Resident Evil 5, both for the PS3 and 360. The game is scheduled for release on the 13th of March.
As gamers know, often video games use cut scenes to push along the plot; in this regard, survival-horror game "Resident Evil 5" is no different. However, the developers at Capcom in Osaka were so captivated by filmmaker Jim Sonzero's work directing "Wes Craven's Pulse," a 2006 remake of Japanese horror movie "Kairo," that they hired him to craft the cut scenes for their new game.

Following Electronic Theatre's report last week on Capcom's launch campaign for Resident Evil 5, today we have received word that the details have slightly changed. Instead of taking place on the day of launch – Friday, 13th March 2009 – the "Treasure Hunt" shall now take place the day before, Thursday, 12th March 2009.
