It takes skill, balance and a well-developed pair of cojones to control a 180-mph MotoGP racing bike on the worldwide Grand Prix stage - but 60 bucks and a videogamer's steady hand will get the job done on an Xbox 360. Of course, pretty or not, that last bit may determine whether or not you'll even like MotoGP '06.

It's not that the game is overly sim-like; the cursory controls and arcade bike physics are easy enough to manage. But you must remember one thing: you're piloting an unstable ...
Friday 9 June 2006
Ah, the glamorous world of superbikes. Just imagine - earning a fortune for playing with your chopper while clad in skin-tight leather. Mmm. Still, at least we get to play top racers like this, which is probably the next best thing.

Although they share the MotoGP license, we have always favoured Climax's semi-sim approach over Namco's arcade racer. We had great expectations over this, and we're pleased to report that this transition to next-gen is smoother than a Gregorio ...
For those who love racing of the two-wheeled variety, MotoGP has long been the benchmark for motorcycle racing videogames. Climax's Xbox series has always looked fabulous and played even better. And now its making the leap to the Xbox 360.

Before you get too excited, though, it should be pointed out that this is basically a gussied-up port of the Xbox's MotoGP 3, complete with a handful of new features and tracks. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but fans should know what they're ...
Are four wheels slowing you down? Is travelling at 170mph in Project Gotham Racing 3 just not fast enough? Are you after a different kind of rush?

Well, you can finally stop looking, because MotoGP is back, roaring with speed and energy and all set to offer possibly the fastest racing experience ever seen on a console. We mean it.

See, the thing about motorbikes (especially the GP variety) is that they're very, very quick indeed - but speed has always been a fairly tricky thing to replicate ...
THQ has announced that its superbike simulator MotoGP '06 will be released for Xbox 360 in May, and has sent us some brand new screenshots to celebrate.

Developed by Climax, the fully licensed MotoGP series has led the way with superbike racers, and '06 on Xbox 360 looks as though it will set new standards in realistic handling and graphics.

In addition THQ Wireless, the mobile game division of the US publisher, is currently working on MotoGP 3 and MotoGP Manager for mobile phone handsets, ...
