DarkZero Writes: "Early morning at DZ Tower's and we were just checking on XBLA to see if Ikaruga appeared yet, and it seems it has, with the download weighing in at 49.39MB.
Developed by Treasure, the game first appeared in the arcades back in 2001 before been subsequently ported to Dreamcast in Japan and then worldwide to the GameCube. We've been waiting for the game to appear on XBLA for quite some time, so we are happy it is finally here."

VG247: 360Sync's reporting that Rocky and Bullwinkle will be available for download on April 16 from XBLA for 800 MS Points.
Sega has also apparently confirmed that Happy Tree Friends: False Alarm 'should' be out on the April 23.
Also, you might remember that we reported Ikaruga's arrival next Wednesday for what should be 800 Points if Rez is the benchmark price for these Dreamcast rehashes.
And putting all that information in order, we've come up with this:

"It seems the April issue of Official Xbox Magazine has some information about the highly anticipated XBLA release Ikaruga. Specifically, it sounds like the game will be coming out very soon, as the magazine notes the game is already available with a graphic that reads "Out Now." It doesn't get much clearer than that. Unfortunately, given the nature of magazine lead times (people get April issues in March, etc.) it's hard to say exactly when Ikaruga will show up, but it's probably safe to say it should be out before the end of April. Oh, and for what it's worth, OXM gave Ikaruga a 9 out of 10, so things are looking up.
Update: Upon closer inspection, the review appears to be in the UK Official Xbox Magazine."

Microsoft showed off more of Ikaruga at this year's Tokyo Game Show. Ikaruga put the "hard" in "hardcore" when it released in arcades in 2001. Enemies and their attacks come in two different colors: white or black.
As if dodging the hundreds of bullets and kamikaze spacecrafts you'd expect from your everyday shooter wasn't hard enough, Ikaruga forces you to switch "polarities" constantly on the fly to match up your ship's color with those of your enemies and their attacks.
