GRID trailer is incredible

The first trailer for Codemasters' GRID has appeared online, and you can view it by clicking once on our much-loved video player just below these words. It's like a family member to us.

Due for release in June 2008, GRID (or Race Driver: GRID in the UK) continues the popular racing game series and will be the first title in the franchise to appear on the current generation of consoles, coming to PS3, Xbox 360, PC and, er, Nintendo DS.

A disclaimer confirms at the beginning of the trailer that the footage is actual gameplay footage, and for good reason - it looks absolutely incredible.

Our personal favourite track has to be the neon-lit streets of Japan. Go. Watch. Now.
