Boomtown reports: "Top Gear's The Stig and his race driving palls had come along to lend their support to the release of Race Driver: GRID. The drivers happily revved their engines for the assembled crowd. As you might expect it was The Stig that really caught everyone's attention with many vying to say hello to the mysterious magnesium-scented tame racing driver.

VG247: Codemasters confirmed this morning that the DS version of Race Driver GRID has been pushed into June, but that the release of the PC, PS3 and 360 versions is unaffected.
In a post on the official Codemasters forum, GRID's Executive Producer has confirmed that the game has "Gone gold" and entered the manufacturing phase.
Eurogamer reports that Codemasters has unveiled Race Driver: GRID's multiplayer features and revealed that the game - due out on PS3, 360 and PC on 30th May - features full damage modelling.
