VG247: The only word here is "wow". EA's Fight Night Round 4 looks better and better and the screenshots below are a testament to that.
With E3 over, EA Sports is preparing to launch Fight Night Round 4, and we got the 33 achievements for the game. You'll not only need to beat both Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson, but will also need to beat Tyson with a user created boxer to grab some achievements.
GamesAreEvil presents a full roundup of the games demoed and discussed in yesterdays Press Conference from EA. After an unexpected start, we are greeted with some meaty details of some of the years most anticipated games.
One of the newest editions to Fight Night 4 is the Online Championship Mode, for the first time ever we can have a world champion in a videogame, now this is a revolution.

PlayStation LifeStyle writes, "The Fight Night Round 4 pre-release demo has been available to those that pre-ordered for almost a week (public demo to be released 6/4/09 on the PSN). The biggest issue has been the removal of the face buttons for punching. Fight Night Round 3 allowed you a choice between using the analog stick (called TPC, Total Punch Control) or by using the face buttons of your controller."
*For Australian Release only*
VG247: EA's Dean Richards, executive producer on Fight Night Round 4, has told VG247 that the issue of accessibility in Fight Night Round 3 is something that the team have addressed in the new game.VG247
I did some research on the fans of this game and the majority ruled in favor of having the option to use Face Buttons just like in Fight Night Round 3 for your punches instead of being limited to the Total Control Analog Punch gameplay style. Well I've contacted EA regarding this matter and it was remarkable how they responded.
PlayStation LifeStyle writes, "Since the release of the Fight Night Round 4 demo several days ago, fight fans have had a few concerns as to the gameplay and overall mechanics. It's nothing like Fight Night Round 3, and a few users have been unhappy with EA. Brian "Brizzo" Hayes, producer for Round 4, has addressed some of the issues that gamers have encountered at the EA Forums:"
TVGB: "Xbox Live Gold members will be able to get it starting May 28, while PSN and XBL Silver members will have to wait yet another week until June 4th, which is when not a lot of people will probably even notice it since we'll be knee deep in E3 announcements."
With British pre-order customers getting their hands on the Fight Night Round 4 demo two weeks early, several GameStop locations were contacted to try to find out when American gamers could expect a taste of EA's upcoming boxing title. As it turns out, GameStop will be issuing demo codes for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions today, Thursday May 14th.
Fight Night Round 3 compared to Fight Night Round 4 is like watching Mike Tyson fight Gary Coleman there's no comparison at all. Fight Night Round 4 from this demo alone has shown such a major jump in every aspect of the game that all sport games should be in development for 2 years instead of 1 because this game is unbelievable.
