As it stands, the only way to play Fight Night Round 4 is using the analogue sticks to swing punches. However, producer Brian Hayes says "there is no option for face button punching in the final version, but we are investigating providing the option via DLC."

If he means free DLC, that would be fine. If you ended up having to pay for the option to use button-mapped controls, it's exactly the sort of thing that will whip the internet into a frenzy and unleash their hatred EA's way.
