GameStop, the world's largest video game and entertainment software retailer, is hosting a Fight Night Round 4 tournament in over 2,100 stores starting Saturday, July 11.
Weight , Physics, Reach, Footwork, all these aspects that makes a boxer a boxer has been successfully implemented into this title, but through this process something has been taken out and that's the Face button configuration style of gameplay.
Fans of Fight Night Round 4 have found today that EA has sneaked in some fairly invasive in-game advertising into the game a week after it's release.
El33tonline writes: "Fight Night Round 4, a title that debuted on the UK Software Sales Chart last week, has managed to punch its way to the No. 1 spot on the listing this week, which marks the first time a boxing game has ever reached this position in the UK."

In the Legacy Mode trailer, EA's Mike Mahar talks through the enhanced single player career mode. As well as more customisation options, the mode features an all new rankings system and more realistic career progression.
Taking the joy of smacking your best friend around the chops to the next level is EA with Fight Night Round 4's new Game Face option. With Game Face, you will be able to create a likeness of yourself right down to the most minute detail. By importing a picture via the Xbox Vision/Playstation Eye or uploading a high-res photo to EA World, then tweaking facial features until your have full digital representation of you or your mother-in-law you can take into the ring. It doesn't stop there though. You can then go ahead and customize gloves, trunks and even your entrance music by using any tune off your console's HDD. Check out the trailer after the jump!
EA has revealed that Fight Night Round 4 will ship with no face button control support. However, the team may consider adding the option via DLC post-release.
Gameplay is everything and if the face button configuration don't make it into the game then the developers choice of limiting that gameplay style will surely hurt sales.
