THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI) today announced Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon, the latest chapter in the multimillion-unit-selling Destroy All Humans! franchise, has shipped to retailers nationwide. Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon features hi-fidelity destruction, devastating alien weaponry, diverse open-world environments and new online multiplayer modes, putting players in the role of Crypto the alien as he embarks on a journey of destruction and enlightenment in the Funked Out 1970's. The game is available for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft at the suggested retail price of $39.99.

Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon has just received its official U.S. release date of December 1, 2008. DAH!POTF picks up where Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed (or DAH!BWU) left off story-wise and promises bigger environments, more weapons, and the same campy, fun character work we've come to know from the series.

The achievements confirm some of the locations Crypto will be visiting and some of the enemies he will be coming up against. There's also a reference to The Godfather in the 'Sleeps with the Fishes' achievement which is accompanied by a rather strange image.
The work of Brain Zoo Studios, a leading digital media animation studio, will be showcased across the show floor at this year's E3. Fans anticipating the mysterious Alpha Protocol from Sega for the PC and next-gen consoles will be treated to a cinematic showcase produced by Brain Zoo Studios for the title.
